In the last few years, several industrial companies have been confronted with the limited capacity of their electricity distributor’s network or with the additional cost required by the latter to reinforce the distribution infrastructure necessary to carry the requested surplus power. <\/span><\/p>\n

In many cases, this forces them to abandon their extension project because the expected return on investment is no longer possible due to this unforeseen additional cost. In other cases, they fall back on “troubleshooting” solutions, such as running part of their installation with a generator. But this increases operating costs and thus limits their competitiveness. <\/span><\/p>\n

The cost of the kWh produced with a Generator was, at the end of 2019, at 2,8 Dhs HT (0,25 \u20ac) against approximately 1 Dhs HT (0,085 \u20ac) for a subscription in Medium voltage. Not to mention the hassles that this kind of solution poses, such as the additional maintenance effort, the supply logistics to be put in place, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n
