Our vision ..., our mission ...

Our vision

The future will be electric. No one should doubt it anymore.

Because in a more or less near future, and thanks to the development of renewable energies, electricity will be more abundant and its cost will decrease until it becomes cheaper than oil and gas.

With technological development, electricity will replace all other forms of energy. It will make airplanes fly, cars, trucks and motorcycles roll, ships sail and rockets take off. It will also turn 100% of the factories, heat the buildings, and light the streets and houses.

But this development will not be without its hitches. As we have already seen, with the widespread use of electronics, equipment has become much more sensitive to transients and other electrical energy anomalies. Previously, the equipment was fairly immune to short-term power fluctuations and did not refer problems to the utility grid. Now, with the introduction of non-linear devices (inverters, chargers, switch-mode power supplies, etc.), harmonics are created and can affect the customer’s equipment, that of his neighbors but also that of the utility. These are called Power Quality problems.

To determine the source of these problems, clients, utilities and consultants are increasingly equipping themselves with measurement tools to monitor, record and analyze these phenomena.

Electricity distributors will come under increasing pressure to hold polluters and other disruptors of the public grid to account.

Our profession will then have to evolve and all of its players with it. The electrical company will no longer be able to simply pull cables and connect equipment. In the near future, it will have to develop in-house skills capable of using network analyzers, interpreting the results, and above all proposing electrical treatment methods according to the source of each problem.

Our philosophy :

The real costs are not always the ones we perceive... BEWARE... of hidden costs!

The “visible” costs, constituted by the electricity bill, represent only the tip of the iceberg, i.e. less than 20% of total costs. Often, companies pay much higher hidden costs. These are:

  • Costs related to poor equipment operation: frequent breakdowns, equipment life expectancy not reached, etc.
  • Costs caused by the non-availability of installations: decrease in turnover, increase in fixed costs, decrease in margins, delivery delays, dissatisfaction and even loss of customers, etc.

These two types of “indirect” and “hidden” costs are intimately linked to

  • The quality of electrical power: outages due to power surges or lightning strikes, power supply interruptions due to internal or external events, voltage fluctuations, and even lighting fluctuations (flicker) that can impact employee productivity.
  • The quality of execution and maintenance of the electrical installation: fires, unwanted tripping of protections, overheating and decommissioning of production equipment, etc.

Our mission

Put our expertise at the service of the health of electrical installations and the improvement of our customers' income

Like a doctor, Elexpert treats and prevents:

We take care of our customers’ facilities:

  • Against over-consumption thanks to our energy saving and cost management solutions
  • Against power surges, micro outages, lightning, harmonics and all other power quality problems, transient, temporary and permanent, that may cause damage to equipment or affect service continuity

We help them with prevention by providing them with:

  • Our monitoring and power monitoring solutions
  • Our preventive maintenance solutions and services
  • Our expertise in the design and upgrading of HV and LV installations

Finally, what Elexpert offers to its clients is peace of mind, improved competitiveness and the certainty of benefiting from the best in electrical engineering.
