Qualifoudre

To design and implement its lightning protection installations, Elexpert uses the latest international and Moroccan standards in the field, including the series of standards NM IEC 62305-1:2020, NM IEC 62305-2:2020, NM IEC 62305-3:2020 (derived from IEC 62305-x:2012)

Single rod lightning rod

This type of installation consists in the installation of one or more lightning rods, erected in the upper part of the structures to be protected.

The angle of protection for the area protected by these rods depends on the level of protection required on the building concerned and the height of the capture device above the volume to be protected.

Mesh cages (non-insulated protection)

The protection by mesh cage consists in the realization on the building of a cage with meshes connected to ground connections.

The mesh cage system distributes the flow of lightning currents between the various down conduits, and this is all the better as the mesh is tighter.

The width of the mesh on the roof and the average distance between two downspouts depend on the level of protection required on the building.

Stretched wires (insulated protection)

This system is composed of one or more conductive wires stretched over the installations to be protected.

The protection zone is determined by applying the electro-geometric model.

Conductors must be grounded at both ends.

This type of solution is reserved for special cases, for the protection of high-risk ATEX zones (ammunition depots, explosive material storage sheds, etc.)
