Batteries de compensation automatique à contacteurs

Ready

Automatic contactor batteries are designed for automatic reactive energy compensation in networks with fluctuating load levels and power variations of a few seconds or several minutes. They are divided into steps, controlled by contactors.

This type of battery is installed at the head of a LV distribution or an important sector (workshop, production line, …). It allows a step by step regulation of the reactive energy.

The interlocking of the steps is controlled by a communicating varmetric relay, which measures the voltages and currents on the 3 phases simultaneously. This avoids over- or under-compensation phenomena in the event of a significant imbalance in the currents in the installation. Above all, it allows to check the level of harmonics in the installation, row by row, and thus to prevent dangerous situations such as harmonic resonance phenomena.

Notre gamme :

  • Power : from 30 kVAR to 2000kVAR
  • Voltages: 230V, 400V, 440V, 550V, 660V and 690V
  • Standard or with SAH (Self anti-harmonics)
  • SAH tuning frequency: 135Hz, 170Hz, 189Hz, 215Hz (other on request)
  • Varmetric relay with three-phase current and voltage measurement
  • Industry 4.0 ready: Possibility of supervision and integration in an energy management system, SCADA system or BMS

The capacitors used in our compensation batteries are carefully selected and have very high performances:

  • High operating voltage: up to 480V permanent (for 400V network) and up to 780V (for 660V network)
  • Supports overcurrents up to: 2.5 In
  • Very high inrush current: Inrush current > 400 In
  • No fire risk: filled with inert material (resin or inert gas)
  • No risk of explosion: no oil, internal mechanical and electrical fuses
  • Operation under high temperatures: up to +65°C
  • Operation in harsh environments: Heavy-Duty
  • Very high service life: 150,000 to 300,000 hours
